We are delighted to introduce Lerato Thahane as the newest member of the SSP Board of Trustees. Lerato brings a wealth of expertise to our team, serving as a Partner at Bowman Gilfillan Inc., a prominent African law firm. Within her firm’s Corporate Department, she specializes in Mergers and Acquisitions, boasting an extensive track record of navigating significant, and sometimes high-profile, transactions across diverse African and European nations.
Lerato holds an LLB degree and a Certificate in Advanced Company Law from the esteemed University of the Witwatersrand. Her professional achievements are matched only by her commitment to social betterment. Beyond her contributions to SSP, Lerato serves as a trustee for the Standard Bank Tutuwa Community Trust. Since 2018, she has been dedicated to fostering the economic advancement of South Africa’s youth, actively supporting a range of initiatives that empower the younger generation.
